K is 2!

Happy birthday my dearest kayley! For the record k is 12.5kg at 2yo and c is 16kg at 4yo. Random thought. K is super duper cute. C and k are chalk and cheese. If you compare both girls on the cuteness score board k will win marginally and on the pretty score board c will win marginally. When you ask k what's her name her answer will be meimei! Yes with the exclamation. K talks and acts enthusiastically most of the time. Except when she is strangers, her noise will be turned down to zero level. Otherwsie almost everyday when I'm home when I exit the lift I will hear meimei's voice. She enjoys singing and dancing. I must record more videos of her dances or her cuteness. I don't know how to describe but she is so cute la. She doesn't have double eyelids (most ot the time) but her eyes are big and wide she looks so innocent and sweet and cute and her smile awwww. Relatively she is not as smart as chloe as in she can't recognise colors or words at 2yo but she can talk so much and her motor skills are also better compared to c. Well we cant help but compare but that doesn't mean we love anyone of you lesser. Both are my loves. K loves her vegetables which is so different from other children. Her fav is broccoli. When she eats any food she eats so heartily. When you feed her its a breeze she opens her mouth so wide (I mentioned her every action is enthusiastic) she is so cute. She likes to feed herself which is so independent compared to c. She likes to go out. She likes piggyback. She likes to help. If you ask her to bring a bowl to the kitchen she will reply ok! and do so enthusiastically. She will also carry your shopping bag eveb though it looks heavy for her size enthusiastically back home. She's great at following instructions too. Most of the time if she's in a good mood she will follow mummy's funny faces. I have a video to prove that. She's so cute! She likes to change clothes and model. She is the cooperative baby unlike chloe. K is pattern more than badminton!  Heh.

Fever. I hate you.

First it was gong gong for a week. Then chloe for a week. Now mei mei. My poor babies. My pocket also big big hole. My drawers full full full of medicine. Why why why. Vitamins are of no use. Or if no vitamins more episodes of fever? Now its school holidays. I can't imagine when school reopens. Feverish k and c with runny nose leaning on mommy and watching hi 5.

December

December is my favourite month. Besides the birthday of my 2 favourite girls, there's Christmas. So it's party time every week. There's so much to do so little time. This weekend we picked up school uniform and books on Saturday morning, evening at taka for sesame street show and dinner with gong gong popo, and Sunday at the zoo. I've said from the beginning of my blog that I will take more photos so we've been camwhoring. The problem with so many photos there are so many I like but how to develop every one of them when the difference is so minute but each is so cute so I post all on the blog loh and think very hard for a long time to choose a handful to print.

Jessin

Daddy is the camera man and mommy is the creative director. The girls were in a good mood and followed mummy's poses. My 2yo and 4yo are going to Jessin school next year! All grown up!

C says I'm 4yo! K says I'm 2yo! *but K cannot show 2 fingers she can only show 10 fingers. Heh.

C is 4!

Your first present was from Adric (auntie corinne)! Mommy was pleased to return home to a lollibox sent by courier for you. You were pleased too and said oh my goodness! It was themed sun sand sea and you made a visor! You had lots of fun messing up the living room with the yellow and blue packing material.

Next Tiffany (uncle james) gave you a leapfrog reader. Eh meimei loves then pen too so both of you were vying for it. But mommy has to buy more books.

Mommy and daddy brought you to mickey mouse magic show at mbs. You were looking forward to it for weeks. It started with the ad on tv so since the show was near to your birthday mommy bought tickets. We had popcorn and coke too so you were a happy girl. Ootd was h&m minnie dress from godmama and you brought bear bear (from godmama too) to watch the show.

Also new creation church sent you a birthday card!

You were imagining a surprise party for yourself with banners balloons hats so after you fell asleep mommy pulled daddy to put up the minnie birthday banner and mommy daddy cut birthday wrapper to chloe is 4!

You are a very cool baby. You don't always show your happiness with smiles. You stone without expressions.

You were very excited about your birthday. The moment you opened your eyes you said its Tuesday its my birthday and ordered mommy to sing you a birthday song. When mommy brought you out to the living room to see the birthday wall you made no expressions but I was sure you were happy.

Mommy daddy were off to work. Mommy went to ntuc and bought mickey party hats and blowouts. We collected the swensens mickey ice cream cake you chose from bishan junction 8.

Godmama and uncle chris joined us for the party. Gong gong made dinner with his best dishes - fish steamboat, sweet sour pork, prawns in oatmeal. You weren't interested in dinner because you were paying attention to the presents!

Godmama and uncle chris showered you with baby alive! Minnie balloon for you and hello kitty balloon for meimei. Also a set of cinderella tiara necklace earrings and ring. You werr excited about baby alive because you've been watching the youtubes. Surprisingly you were happy with the cinderella dress up but that didn't last long. There was a free sponge bob stick for the swimming pool.

Your favourite present was from mommy and daddy. Playdoh meal making set. You wanted to make pizza! Your interest also grew from watching youtubes. 

Godmama also bought you a recorder from Budapest. 

We sang birthday song. When we finished the English you asked for Chinese. After you blew the candles you even closed your eyes for a wish. I wonder what your wish was. You wanted the mickey body from the birthday cake. We have a video taken by godmama! 

Next we adjourned to the bedroom for wiggles.  The fun started. You enjoyed singing and dancing with mummy godmama and uncle chris. We also played playdoh together.

I was sure you wished you had a longer party. You were definitely a happy girl.

Snow!

It's a yearly affair since chloe was 2yo. We will visit tanglin mall to see 'snow' and have dinner at nandos. This time chloe is 4yo and kayley is 2yo. I dressed up 2 yo k with the same purple bubble dress c wore when she was 2yo. When c was 2yo and 3yo she didn't really know what was going on. Now that she's 4yo she's enjoying it. But though we've been there for 2 years we were ill prepared. Because chloe was playing in the snow bubble avalanche she was wet and dirty and we didn't have towel. Most prepared parents dressed their child in swimming costume or topless. I suppose I was also surprised that chloe enjoyed the play this time. K was crying most of the time. Same as c at 2yo. She was overwhelmed by 'snow'. It was strong and had chemical smell. Aloysius was with us and it's his first time and he looked like he really enjoyed it. This will be a tradition. This year we may go twice. The next time we will go prepared. 

Bear bear

Godmama bought this me to you bear for chloe when she visited her at hospital. Chloe was admitted for fever and was on drip. The bear says get well soon. I dont know when chloe started to love the bear. She hugs it to sleep. Dragged it around. When we went out yesterday, for the first time, she wanted to bring the bear along and I allowed. I asked her to name the bear. I suggested bear bear chia, bear chia, godmama chia but she says she's bear bear. I always call the girls chloe chia and kayley chia. Given name and surname. Pizza again

Further to the previous post, this is the 3rd pizza party. I missed the second because I was in hanoi. I said more photos but I enjoy the pizza making too so my hands were dirty with flour and I took only 3 photos. More information. The girls started cooking with cupcakes. Because one day gugu decided to bake at our house. We baked on our own for at least 3 times as well. Then next we moved on to pancakes. Because chloe read and loved a book by eric carle (mommy bought the book) titled pancakes pancakes. It was a boy who wanted to eat pancakes and his mom asked him to help with the preparations. So we started making pancakes for breakfast. So so far cooking has been cupcakes pancakes pizzas. Meimei has started to join us too. There are other videos and photos on cupcakes day. Girls if you are keen you will have to look through the saved history of the many many vids and pics.

Jiang jiang jiang

Chloe is turning 4 yo in 2 weeks time. Since birth she has been breastfeeding. She latched on to sleep every night. In December 2010 when she was 1 yo I went to watch local musical cinderelah and in the musical the audience was told to chant jiang jiang jiang when one of the characters appeared (maybe evil stepmother,  I forgot). At that time when I flash my boobs at chloe she will laugh heartily. So the night after the musical before I flash my boobs I will say jiang jiang jiang. She enjoyed that. She was addicted to the breasts and was always asking for it. I've heard other babies whining for ney ney milk milk and I didn't want her to chant the same. So from then on we had a private code we call the breasts jiang jiang. Chloe will always ask for jiang jiang when she sleeps (like a pacifier addiction) or when she's upset and requires comfort. And this was from birth to up to last week! I was away for a week in hanoi for holiday and she slept with kaka and meimei. During the week in hanoi I started taking doctor prescribed pills for stopping of milk flow. If not I would have stone hard breasts. So when I'm back, at least for the last 3 days, chloe asked for jiang jiang, but I told her you are 4 yo no more jiang jiang. Reluctantly she understands, my baby has grown up, so she will tell me no jiang jiang I want milk milk. She was funny, she made me pretend to be chloe and she pretend to be mommy, and we pretend to sleep, and she will ask me to ask for jiang jiang, and her reply was go sleep with kaka no jiang jiang. Hee. Actually I miss her latching on to me. I enjoy the moments very very much too. But I think it's time to let go. I'm confident she will kick the habit. I wished I blogged earlier. I will then remember more of these memories and she will read more in future. Well better late than never. I love you very very much chloe.

To kayley. Sorry baby. Because jiejie was very sticky to mommy since birth, mommy tried to sleep with both girls, but when you were 9 months old, mommy gave up, and you started sleeping with kaka. You were still latching but by 17 months old, when you were hospitalised for fever, you just stopped latching volunteerily. Now at 22 months old, when mommy asked if you want to sleep with mommy, you will say no, I sleep with kaka. But you still love mommy. If there's kaka and mommy when we go out you will wany mommy to carry. Thank you for your love. Mommy loves you very very much too. You are so cute. I don't know how to describe your cuteness but you really are. When I carry you you hug like a koala. Your fat cheeks and arms send a very very warm loving feeling.

Ok same for Chloe. Girls don't compare huh. Mommy loves both super duper very muchie. ♥♥
